Design Technician
Looking for a Design Technician
You will work with builders, lumber yards, and homeowners to prepare detailed floor, roof, and engineered component layouts, and design take-offs for pricing and fabrication.
You must be able to: Read and understand building plans. Visualize a 3-D building from a 2-D plan. Have a basic knowledge of construction practices and principles. Have basic math and trigonometry skills. Be proficient in the use of computer software. Deal with people in person and on the phone.
Diploma not required but job related coursework/certificate is required. Technical college degree/diploma with work experience is preferred. In house training provided.
